There is much debate about how to structure the Reception and Year 1 curriculum in order to best support children’s development and wellbeing. At Big Education we have taken a play-based approach – but with a twist! Learning from our experience of real world project work and buidling on the theories of Reggio Emilia, we have embedded continuous provision alongside authentic age-appropriate projects.

This course is a place to share our own practice and reflections, and allow space for discussion and critique alongside other interested Reception and Year 1 teachers and leaders!
