The first two sessions were all about starting with you. We know that we can not make meaningful improvements to a culture of wellbeing if it does not start with the person making the change. Otherwise, any interventions will be short-lived, ineffective and receive little buy-in.
However, it is now time to start exploring the situation for others. Too often, school leaders (understandably) rush to find solutions to problems. At Big Education, we believe in following a design-thinking approach – this usually means slowing down and exploring a number of different potential solutions first, before investing time and energy in a well thought-through intervention.
This section is all about you taking time to speak with members of staff, conduct a small bit of school research and explore the wider-system. In the next live webinar, we will explore these findings as a group and move towards developing a strategy.
